Devcon 09

Phoenix won a tender bid to produce and stage a one day conference for 650 software engineers which was held at Cheltenham racecourse. The theme and design was produced by Phoenix who employed the services of Sir Richard Nobel as the opening guest speaker; he was able to relate to the conference theme, Performance Engineering. This theme was split into 4 sub headings and breakout rooms with full AV support provided. The main set consisted of a 27 metre x 6 metre white cloth backdrop with main widescreen projection and live video relay of presenters. A special reception desk and backdrop were also designed to give a great first impression to all delegates and introduce the theme of the day.
